Professional standards, for safer flying.

Ten new airplanes, each with a parachute built in, maintained by our own team and flown to a standard higher than the checkride asks for. This is what that means in practice.

Our own maintenance team

We do our maintenance in house, in the same hangar the fleet is kept in. Our team sees every airplane every day.

Anyone can squawk anything, which is pilot for reporting a fault. A squawked airplane comes off the schedule until maintenance has cleared it. No exceptions, and no pressure to fly it anyway.

A parachute for the whole airplane.

Every airplane in our fleet carries a BRS ballistic parachute built into the airframe. Pull one handle and the entire aircraft, you included, descends under canopy. Most schools cannot offer it, because their airplanes were built decades before it existed.

You will probably never use it. Knowing it is there changes how it feels to learn.

Trained past the test

Equipment is the easy half. The harder half is how you are trained, and it is where we hold the line hardest.

One instructor, every flight
You train one on one with an instructor who knows your last three lessons, not whichever one happened to be free. Weak spots get caught early and worked on deliberately.
Briefed, flown, debriefed
Every flight starts with a briefing and ends with a debrief. You always know what you are practicing, why, and how it went.
Weather days are ground days
Nobody pushes you to launch into marginal weather to keep a schedule. If the day is not right for the lesson, it becomes a ground session and the flying waits.
Checkride standards are the floor
We train past the FAA test standards, not to them. The goal is not a certificate. It is a pilot we would happily put our own families in an airplane with.

The airplanes, the parachute handles, the maintenance bay. The best way to judge how a school treats safety is to walk through it, and we will happily show you around.
