Nine months that look like this.

Full-time training out of Riverside, California, one on one with your instructor, next to people working toward the same certificates you are.

What a week looks like

Full time here means treating training like a job: fly, debrief, study, repeat. You can fly six days a week. The pace is set by your schedule and how prepared you show up, not by a cohort start date.

Mornings on the flight line
Brief with your instructor, preflight the airplane, then fly. Training is one on one, so the schedule is built around you, not a class calendar.
Afternoons on the ground
Debrief, then the part that makes the flying work: study for the writtens, chair-fly the next lesson, simulator sessions and the reading your instructor assigned.
Evenings with the same people
You train alongside other students working through the same certificates. You study together, quiz each other before checkrides and celebrate after them.

A working hangar, not a classroom

You spend your days at Riverside Municipal Airport with our own airplanes around you: factory-new Tecnam P-Mentors, an instructor who knows your last three lessons, and the same faces on the ramp every morning.

The coast is your training area

Your cross-country flights run down the shoreline, over the harbors and out past the islands. Coastline, mountains and desert all fit inside one training flight, in some of the busiest airspace in the country. Learn here and you can fly anywhere.

The weather is the other reason we are here. Southern California flies nearly every day of the year, which is why nine months is realistic here and not somewhere that spends its winter on the ground.

Days off

Full time does not mean you never leave the airport. Everything here is a drive, not a trip, and most of it happens with the people you train with.

Where you sleep

Most of our career students share a furnished apartment near the flight line with the people they train with. It is $1,300 a month, optional, and outside the program price.
