- Any flight schoolCan be used at any flight school in the United States or Canada that is not a university program.
Requirements
- You must have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- You must meet the qualifications for a Class 3 medical or a sport pilot certificate.
- You must be at least 17 years old, a US citizen with a valid driver's license, and able to operate the controls of a training aircraft.
- Funds must be used by March 1 following the year you are awarded.
How to apply
- Wait for the EAA scholarship application to open on October 1, 2026.
- Fill out the single online EAA scholarship application.
- Name a character reference who is not a relative and ask them to finish the recommendation.
- Submit everything before the December 19, 2026 deadline.
