Gives $5,000 toward a multi engine instructor certificate.

Requirements

You must already hold a CFI and a commercial certificate with multi engine ratings.
US applicants only.
Training must be finished within one year of the award.
Selection looks at your passion for teaching and your plan to instruct through the airline minimum flight hours.
You can apply for up to three WAI scholarships in one cycle.

How to apply

Join or renew your WAI membership before the membership cutoff.
Read the scholarship description in the WAI scholarship listings.
Put together two recommendation letters, a 500 word essay, a resume, and copies of your certificates and last three logbook pages.
Submit the application through the WAI online portal before the deadline.
