Requirements
- You should be enrolled in an aviation program at a university, college or training program.
- You can be studying any branch of aviation, including pilot training.
- You write three essays of at least 500 words each on aviation safety topics.
- You may send one application per round, so up to two a year.
- Past winners can apply again in later rounds.
How to apply
- Pick 3 of the 8 essay topics listed on the page.
- Write a 500 word or longer essay for each topic and put all three in one Word document.
- Fill out the online application form and attach that document.
- Submit before the December 31 or July 1 round deadline.
