Requirements

You must be a female student working toward a private pilot certificate.
You must be a U.S. citizen.
You must be at least 16 years old.
You need one non-relative character reference to finish an online recommendation.
The money must be used by March 1 after the year you are awarded.

How to apply

Wait for the application to open on October 1, 2026.
Fill out the single EAA flight training scholarship application online.
Name one non-relative character reference and ask them to finish the recommendation before the deadline.
Submit the application by December 19, 2026.
Watch for an email with the result on or shortly after March 2.
