Any flight schoolCan be used at any flight school in the United States or Canada that is not a university program.

Requirements

  • You must be a high school graduate aged 18 to 23.
  • You must have completed your first solo flight.
  • Training must be in fixed wing airplanes.
  • First consideration goes to applicants from the greater St. Louis metro area.
  • Funds must be used by March 1 following the year you are awarded.

How to apply

  1. Wait for the EAA scholarship application to open on October 1, 2026.
  2. Fill out the single online EAA scholarship application.
  3. Name a character reference who is not a relative and ask them to finish the recommendation.
  4. Submit everything before the December 19, 2026 deadline.
