Requirements

You must be 25 years old or younger.
You must be pursuing a private pilot certificate.
You must be at least 16 years old.
You must be a citizen or resident of the US or Canada, or eligible to work or study there.
Funds must be used by March 1 following the year you are awarded.

How to apply

Wait for the EAA scholarship application to open on October 1, 2026.
Fill out the single online EAA scholarship application.
Name a character reference who is not a relative and ask them to finish the recommendation.
Submit everything before the December 19, 2026 deadline.
