Requirements

  • You must be working toward a private pilot certificate.
  • Preference goes to EAA Young Eagles.
  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You must be a citizen or resident of the US or Canada, or eligible to work or study there.
  • Funds must be used by March 1 following the year you are awarded.

How to apply

  1. Wait for the EAA scholarship application to open on October 1, 2026.
  2. Fill out the single online EAA scholarship application.
  3. Name a character reference who is not a relative and ask them to finish the recommendation.
  4. Submit everything before the December 19, 2026 deadline.
