Requirements
- You must be a Young Eagle or a Next Step applicant.
- The money goes toward completing a private pilot certificate.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must be a citizen or resident of the US or Canada, or eligible to work or study there.
- Funds must be used by March 1 following the year you are awarded.
How to apply
- Wait for the EAA scholarship application to open on October 1, 2026.
- Fill out the single online EAA scholarship application.
- Name a character reference who is not a relative and ask them to finish the recommendation.
- Submit everything before the December 19, 2026 deadline.
